A few weeks ago Art Book moved into its new office! From now on I’ll work upstairs of the Nord shop, it’s located in the heart of Södermalm in Stockholm, very close to Mosebacke. It’s great & I’m really stoked!!!

There’s a new cool club in town! Freddie Frantic & his guests will play records at ”Lilla baren”, Riche, in Stockholm every friday all summer. I’m happy to say that I made the flyer design… Have a look:

If you’re in London the 25th of march & hang around in the fashion industry you might be attending the press day at the office of Varg & Trace. I’ve made an invitation for the event with this illustration inside of the card:

…the new header for a free quality magazine about the swedish archipelago called ”Magasin Skärgård”.

The times they are a-changing, and so must Art Book.
Art Book is now heading for new adventures & the clouds has gently started to unveil the clear blue sky behind them. The plans for the future are shaping up together with collab-worker Bemo Lundgren. But before we’ll do anything we’ll have to find a physical spot somewhere for our creative minds & mad ideas. If you’ve got any solid gens don’t hesitate to contact me by mail or phone!

In general, our vision is to find a place to be creative in. We’re going to be working & experimenting with all kinds of platforms & ideas, we’ll be painting on huges canvases, walls, furnitures & might do some screenprinting, sometimes we’ll invite a friend or two to come work on a project with us, sometimes we just do fun stuff & have a good time.
We also come to you with an extra bonus, the supercool office dog Tage. He’ll charm any human, animal or whomever might walk through our door.
In the weekdays we might be working by our computers or drawing by the light table, have a client meeting or we might be somewhere else looking for great inspirations! But ultimately, when it comes to the big perspective, we’re looking for an inspirational & engaging enviroment with open- & like minded people!

We know we’re not alone — Just let us know where you are.

This last weekend was crammed with fun! Among a lot of other things (like the wesc 10 year anniversary party – hooray for wesc!) I attended the Swedish Skateboard Awards 2009 to whom I also made the logo symbol:

It’s used on a lot of stuff, but here it’s shown on a price plaque:

I also played some records at the yearly skateboard competition called Lucia classics – so this has been three days of pure pleasure! Friends from all over Sweden joined up to celebrate and fraternise with other people from the scene. Check out the pictures from the event at tacky.se!

Music inspires people, and for me it’s like oxygen. Every now and then me and like-minded friends team up to play our gems of choice at some pub, club or bar. Recently, me and my friend Jakob started a new club called Run Run Run. It isn’t stationary and we’re frequently moving around between the different watering holes in Stockholm. Pop by Söders Hjärta this friday the 18th of december and listen to our tunes. Let us be your muses this friday night!
